We are recruiting from our parent group because we know you have the same goal we have of making every instructional minute worthwhile.  Substitute teaching is challenging, but it also gives you a chance to get to know the teachers who work with your child and provides opportunity to support your child in his or her school environment. 

Substituting teaching is also a wonderful opportunity for retirees who want to remain active in their communities and college students who are available to work part time.  Substitutes may choose the schools, grade levels, and the days you are available to work. 

To be considered for employment as a substitute, attending a workshop once a school year is mandatory.  All applicants must have a High School diploma and bring 2 forms of ID.  If you are a Certified Teacher, please bring us a copy of your teaching certificate.
